The price for shipping is a set price for everywhere in the CONUS. Occasionally it is set to 0. I got a Randall tube 4x12 stack sent from CA in two different huge boxes for 0.

Now THAT I didn't know. Seems counter-intuitive, but in hindsight it makes sense. I had a kids' drum set sent to me (KY) from Oregon in three huge boxes... shipping was $50. Thought it was low but I wasn't going to complain. Back to the 210av, still a pretty nice score... usually asking price is 199 or +...... saw a micro vr for 149 last night too.

If you call before it enters the main site, which takes 1-2 days, then they will usually weigh it and you can end up with shipping prices in the $100 range.

Is this a good one? I don't know. I've played a few Ovation electrics and they were pretty good.

It's supposedly a good playing bass, very interesting, limited availability. I don't see why it wouldn't be worth that, if a person likes it. Plus it would look awesome with a tort guard. Or more seriously, I actually think it would look better than most basses do with a gold anodized one. I like gorns ability to find interesting stuff!

I hate his ability to do that..it has resulted in a steady drain of my already poor $$$ ...
