if I set the gain to 12 hour, the sound is more fuzzy (like the big muff but less fat) even if I play not too strong.
with tone to 0 I still have enough medium and high for string attack (I have an active MM stringray), but with tone to 12 or more there is not enough bass
is it difficult to modify the circuit ?
After 12 on the tone the bass starts to get cut, which is bad since it is already toooo lean already. As long as yo are experieced with the solder gun and can work on board mounted compenents - it isn't hard. Here is the final list of what I have and think it is finished:

Fairly transparent with the gain at 0 and the tone in the middle. Adjust gain and level to taste after that. Really like it!
