Halo brand basses?

I work at Halo and am fully dedicated to doing whatever it takes to offer products not classified as junk. I greatly appreciate any advice you are willing to provide. Thanks

I live by Halo Guitars and their instruments are junk. Even their USA made stuff. If you are looking for a cool looking bass that is well built and cheap check out Monson Guitars. I play the Pariah bass from him and it is amazing.

I am biased, but I disagree. There are some very demanding players using Halo guitars and basses right now, and their instruments are all imports. Sean Delson (bass), and Hedras Ramos (guitar), are two highly technical players that come to mind.

From what I've heard if you buy USA made (+4000 dollars usd) there great custom basses, if your going for more for look and less for it being a great usable bass. Don't waist money on an import cuz they'll be much lower quality. Save your money for a better custom bass if that's what your going for in bass player le complete got a good review and there stuff is only like 1500 usd. My opinion is to save your money.

I would love to come in sometime and talk and give feedback on stuff. In no way am I trying to be a jerk. This is how I feel and in no way directed at you or the guys at your shop on a personal level. You guys are super nice guys when I have come in.

This is the internet and I have just as much right to voice my opinion as anyone else. Once again nothing personal. It is nice to see though you are concerned about your companies products and want to improve them, even if its just one dude who doesn't like them.

I sent you an email so we can setup a good time to meet in the near future.

Also, I understand it's nothing personal, no worries. You're entitled to your own opinion about Halo and I respect that.

Great to hear your GVK is still going strong! Feel free to contact me at [email protected] for anything!

I have a GVK-5 that I got about 5 years back and it plays great. I have replaced the bridge and tuners with Schallers because I didn't like the original units but I am using heavy gauged stainless strings. It has been one of my main axes since I got it.

When i worked at Apple I used to drive by all of the time. Every once and a while I would pop into the bar next door for beers, but they were closed at that time. Ironically about 3 weeks ago I had to get my wifes iPhone glass replaced at a place a block down. So, while I waited Ii went to Paul and Eddies bar next door and then popped in to check it out before I left. I guess if you are into the shapes its all good. I played a couple of basses, but nothing wowed me. Some cool looking extended range guitars. Like i said, nothing to rave about.

As far as the Halo stuff goes, I actually kind of like the shape and proportions of the Satyr 4-string... "Metal"-looking instruments aren't my thing, but if I had to choose one it would definitely be that one.. although I'd want the pickup to be by the neck instead of by the bridge...

ZOMBIE THREAD REVIVAL!
Jokes aside, I think it makes the most sense to re-open this thread, as it's the first hit on Google searches. :P

Has anyone tried their newer stuff? It seems like they must have upped their game and their online guitar builder is amazingly verbose!
I've been thinking about having a custom build done with a few builders and stumbled on these while looking for a Telecaster style body.
Anyways, I didn't end up going Tele, after seeing their options & I'm wondering if a Halo would be worthwhile.

Thoughts?

PS: Here's what I came up with. :D

Attempted revival number two, (still first on Google) I was looking at carvin but when I saw halo mentioned in the fanned fret thread I had to check them out, anybody have any experience with their newer stuff, the price tags certainly gone up.
