That's why I don't know what constitutes a good looking man. I'm completely baffled by the concept. Women are attracted to specific guys in ways I can't fathom. If I had to pick who I want to look like, it would probably be Kam Chancellor, more or less.
I'm a bass player, so what would I know about good looks anyway.

As much as I commend him for his objective skill and the flair that his style possesses, I can't say I've ever thought of him as particularly "handsome", more "pretty" IMO. I mean, the guy pulled off eyeliner AND facial hair. Pretty might not be seen as a word applied to men, but his style is also not often applied to men - and I say that with nothing but respect.
Edit: also, from my time in China, I've learned that very many women find Justin Bieber to be very handsome. Also Putin, yes that Putin.... I honestly don't get it either.

While I'm certain your assessment is correct for some men I don't think it's true all that often. I, too, have trouble identifying a handsome man although I've learned to become better at it than when I was younger. As a young man I had no clue what was considered handsome unless it was pointed out to me. Obviously I knew at a fairly young age that people considered Clark Gable handsome, but had I not been told I wouldn't have known. More conditioning with age has made me more able to pick them out, but it wasn't a natural ability. However I knew from a very young age when I saw what I considered a beautiful woman... I did not have to be told or taught.
Just from my own experience, and from rational analysis, I disagree that the inability to identify handsome men, or to post such a comment, is somehow indicative of insecurity but rather a natural reaction to what each individual finds attractive.
More reasonable to me is the notion that different people have different proclivities toward the sexes. Individual perception of beauty and attraction go hand in hand. In other words, one man may only have a beauty reaction to women, where another man may have equal beauty reactions to men and women, while still another man may have beauty reactions only for other men. If I don't find something beautiful how would I discern those who are from those who aren't? And who decides what is beautiful anyway? I thought beauty was in the eye of the beholder. if that is true then my failure to find men beautiful indicates nothing except that; no need to read into my personality beyond it.

i'd say no to jay leno. men can be attractive, charismatic, sexy or cute without being handsome, but that may be just my opinion.
Actually suspect that CA$H had very little to do with women finding Jagger and Stewart attractive....
It's not as if they had any chance of getting their hands on any of the guys dosh when they'e wedged in with 10,000 other women in a stadium is it?.....
I'll stick by my original statement....Charisma....A certain Je ne sais quois.....
