I'm not sure if there are any Anime fans here on TB, lord knows I've been searching for them. Anyway, ever since my first bass 6 years ago, I decided then and there that I would name every bass I owned after my favorite female anime character.

I named my 2009, Fender MIM - Tenri Ayukawa, from The World God Only Knows. I even made myself my own bumper sticker of her for the back.

This is the first time I've seen one of thee threads with people responding with their named basses, rather than "no, that's stupid, why would you name a bass?!?!" A change in the air, perhaps?

I can't say I really understand why people give personal names to their basses or assign a gender to inanimate objects but to just come out and insult them about it would be really lame.
