That Wagon Wheel was really good! Such great vocals in KRB. Daniel's fiddle really makes it.

That's one thing I REALLY miss about the KRB during that era. We had pretty great vocals. We loved practicing them until they were right.

Dang, BassCliff, you can really sing!! Aimee/Fallin in and out have been in my non-blues repetoire forever.

Ms. Paula, you are so kind. Yes, that song always goes over well, just one of those country rockers that everyone likes. Thank you very much.

While I'm here, I want to apologize for not being able to host a Zoom GTG tomorrow. We've been meeting on Thursdays and having a blast. But this week I have a family obligation. I already had my 22 year anniversary on May 2nd ... OMG Grant 42 years.. how did you do it? I'm just a baby still in learning. I couldn't get out out to get her a card so I made her on on the computer... how cheap

Have to laugh. The weeks go by without event, except today! House cleaning, suiting up for a big shop at the supermarket, fish store, and butcher; afternoon neighborhood walk with friends; evening social-distance outdoor cocktail party with the neighbors, then later a 10-minute spot on a facebook "open mic." Ordinarily I'd be ready to rip for a 10:30 meet, but five events in one day now seems overwhelming. This is a very strange way to live.

Wow. Kelli and I will be celebrating our 4th on the 21st. Looking forward to hitting 10 lol.

Then again, considering how much I traveled way back when for work - and how long some of those trips were...it’s amazing my last marriage lasted 17 years.

Happy Anniversary to you and Mrs Grant! That's a great milestone. We'll be hitting 30 next month, congratulations to you both!

No - we tend to split the cooking fairly evenly. My mom taught me at an early age how to cook, so when I moved out I was self sufficient.

Her kids just have an underdeveloped palate - so we’re limited to about 20 things that they’ll eat. So we’ll make generic food for them and then we’ll eat more tasty fare. Like on Tuesday I made tacos for them but for us I made Steak and Chicken fajitas with refried beans and fresh guacamole.

Ya know Bill, I've been doing the DIY computer card thing for ten years now. Yeah, it's cheaper than buying a card but she loves it. Fun to do too.

This is a very strange way to live.

One thing we didn't take into account when selecting our wedding date was the proximity to Mother's Day. Every six or seven years the dates coincide and we would spend our anniversary doing triple Mother's Day GTGs. First with my mom, then with her mom, then with our kids.

Besides being bass players, it seems all of us knuckleheads have something have something else in common:

My wife's favorite special occasion dinner is going to Coco's (a So Cal restaurant chain). Fortunately they are delivering during the dine-in ban so it will be almost normal.

May I make a suggestion .. easy to cook.

That's the wife's SECOND favorite dinner. Always have a can in the cupboard just in case.

Hello my friends,

I just wanted to share a couple more video gig memories.

Here's the first of a couple more of my "somewhat daily" video gig memories. This first one, and I hope she doesn't mind, is a performance of Amanda Kate's song "Healing When I Ride". I really enjoy playing her album and look forward to getting back to it soon.



For the second of my "somewhat daily" video gig memories is a staple song of mine that has been in my repertoire since it was released as a single in 1975. I've sung this song every band I've ever been in and I never get tired of it. This is actually a double shot of Cliff, thanks to Kelly Rae, and we follow it with her "favorite" song.
