It seems like it! But I'm up for the challenge. The guy I'm starting lessons with soon, actually works with me as well, and has managed to gig/tour on the side. So if anyone will have good advice about how to handle it, it'll be him...my job is really pretty unique though. The company is full of creative people and there seems to be a decent degree of acceptance for odd hours and outside commitments. So I'm hopeful that I'll be able to find the balance here.
