Was just gonna ask this...mabye we SHOUD DO numbers
no reason why there shoudn't be a Hawaii bassist club...there's actually a lot of bass players in Hawaii, most play in a Jawaiian or reggae band (least on my island) got a few Jazz bassist here and there..a few traditional Hawaiian music players...and of course Jukebox Heroes (with stars in his eyes) like myself
So far the count is
3 from Kaneohe
2 from Big Island
1 from Hawaii Kai
1 From Hawaii Beaches
1 from Kauai

Katfish Krow said:^ Hahaha...yep..the 9th Island...if Hawaii was a Kingdom again, we shold annex itIts got a ABC store and everything...embassy would be the California hotel lol.
I remember the first time I visited vegas for a wrestling event (which eventually got canceled) brought a huge box of chocolate macadamia nuts to bribe the hotel staff with...the agent took my box and put it on a giant stack they had in the back of every brand..the guys were laughing at me forever on that one...
DieChris you familiar with many bands from out here, like Ooklah the Moc? I was wondering what type of bass most guys play in bands..from wyat I see, tends to be 5 or 6 strings,as local music utilizes the lower tones like in reggae
