yes it's a fender. The Fender Squier came about in 1982 when CBS was really killing the Company. Leo Fender got ill in 1965 and sold Fender to CBS. Along the line the three bolt neck and body were born and the big headstock in 67. But the 75 was the highlight with the jumbo neck tilt. But CBS employees were unhappy. CBS was a giant networking Entertainment company not really into musicians or guitars and let task masters rule their employees. Low wages and no insurrance, caused and rebellion among employees.. If you look at some of the 75 Natural basses you can see the grains of the Ash running in opposite directions. Ash was mainly used for the Natural or the Nitro see thru or light bodies that you can see the grain of the would. Musicians were buying everything but Fender. Gibson came out with the SG and and allot of other companies like Krammer and Leo started G&L and Music Man to boot. CBS contracted the Fujigen Gakki Factory to make Squier guitars. That's when and where Squier's were born. The famous Fender Squier was the JV. The name Fender was real big and the squier real small. But that wasn't good enough so the Fender JV was born in 83, 82's are very rare. Then Japan took off and the Fujigen Gakki run by Greco, Ibanez, Tokia, Ventura, Burney, really hit the market even though they were flooding the scene with K and other name brand guitars. Fender, Gretch, Gibson, and Guild when Guild was in Hoboken NJ where I'm from were the US headliners. After 83 Fender gave Japan full run, the SQ Squier was born and then all the over stock from Leo's Fullerton factory were Exported to Japan for assembly. That's why you have the mixture of E,B,C,A, there is a list on my site. All were mixed. For example the A series was a Fender but also a Squier. The A series Squier is also one of the Japan made as you can see Gakki didn't have the CNC Lathes to make Fenders yet until 1989 early 90. So all the bodies and parts were US and serial numbers mixed. ranout
I didn't correct anybody's spelling. He spelled squire correctly. No thread about Squier's can go on without someone correcting the spelling.

Dear stratconnect,
Hi Strat, That body is gorgeous! My only question is the wood - it's mentioned as ash, but are you certain it's not maple? Thanks so much!

If she changes the description to maple, everyone should then tell her it's ash.
Yup. This pretty much sums it up. There are d-bags all over the place. Just move on.you could always just not buy it and everything will be ok

And then I would proceed to triangle choke his ass,and then I'd transition to an armbar and snap it at the elbow. Yeah,8+ years of jiu-jitsu would come in handy on him, even though I'm a FIRM believer in NOT USING IT in a streetfight.
This is what I had in mind: It happens at the :25 second mark. Hell, watch the whole thing. It's a thing of beauty, for sure.
