I am a devout fan of the 'ryche, but Tate can't get as high as Midnight: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4ED4hNuhUGY. I can't even get that with falsetto.

Are you guys considering falsetto as well as chest voice? Regardless, Stephen Christian on Anberlin has the most range in his upper chest voice out of any male singers, here are a few examples:

Important point people need to remember. ANYTHING can be accomplished in a studio setting. Replicating live is a completely different story. Studio vocals never impress me. Back it up live, then I'll be impressed....ive seen them live and he wasnt able to hit the album notes even closely and ive seen several vids of him not being able to...
