Thanks for making my pointThe ones on the fringe have little, if any impact.

Pointing out other bad behaviour doesn't make it right.
Mr. Tyler mentioned Marley's shooting cops lyrics as some sort of justification for todays rap lyrics. Take it up with himHonestly, I have no interest in Marley OR rap music.
My main gripe with rap music is........Any music that glorifies the thug lifestyle does our culture and youth no good at all.
When you walk out of a movie, it's over. Rap on the other hand..........![]()
Weak comparison. It makes me wonder what rap you've listened to besides DJ Jazzy Jeff and The Fresh Prince![]()

Now all that said, I would like to point out the fact that this thread is intended as a forum for fans of hip hop (or "Hip-Hop Likeres" according to the title) to discuss hip hop music. This does not include posting things such as "Zero, NONE, Nada. Can't stand it. Never have. ", "And slap a ho when she needs it", "Honestly, I have no interest in Marley OR rap music.", or even "My main gripe with rap music is........Any music that glorifies the thug lifestyle does our culture and youth no good at all." way to throw your ignorance out there in the open, my friend
its one thing to say, that type of music just never worked for me. its a whole nother to say you just dont want to give it a chance.
you need you really grab a few roots albums. i dont think they glorify and sort of negative lifestyles whatsoever. and regardless of what some thug was blasting in his car, leanord hubbard is probably a superior musician to all of us here. but then again, your right, some kids blast mainstream rap out of their cars. therefore, hubbard is an awfull bass player![]()

Yes..........
I'm sure Leonard Hubbard has the same impact on the rap/thug related lifestyle as what Stryper had on those evil heavy mental fans!!![]()
OK! Sorry for mentioning a counterpoint..........something that might be a buzzkillIt provoked you to think a little?? Didn't it??
