Yes. Thanks. Exactly like the Tom Peterson except in Silver Burst. Hofner Custom Shop #1 of 1. Made in Germany 2007.Beautiful. Tell us more. Is that a custom Tom Petersson version? Made in Germany?

I bought it from the original owner several years ago. The 3rd pickup gives it a fuller tone. Plus there’s volume and tone controls rather than the typical volume volume. Makes for more easy tone adjustments.
Yeah, I usually order from Thomann and I'm in Canada. They can get things to me as fast, and sometimes faster, than L&M, which is Canada's national music store.just a friendly reminder for Americans. the best prices are at THOMANN, they don't charge Tax (because they are european).
Example - Hofner Club bass list - Musicians friend price - 2799, Thomann Price - 2333.
Out the door price tax shipping etc. - (i put them in my cart and got checked out just before payment)
Musicians Friend $3023.99
Thomann $2397.76
a total difference of $626.23. That's a BIG DIFFERENCE. Not to mention Thomann being German they have better inventory of the german stuff and carry models that are backordered in the states.
My CT doesn't sound muddy. I'm not sure it is the control plat. I have heard, though, that the German plates can improve the tone.I ordered a German control plate for my CT club. Looking forward to hearing it sound less muddy

You should be able to replace the saddle frets with new frets, no?So what's the difference with a German bridge and a CT bridge? I wanted to put a German bridge on my CT as the saddle frets are toast. I also wanted to put German tuners on it so I could get some TI flats on there. The E string is too big for the CT tuner holes.
