It's the same footprint as a stock Ric bridge, isn't it? I think it looks bigger because of the allblackness, combined with the slimmed down body shape.

That, plus the extended fingerboard, IMHO.

Even thought it's big, I still like it

Huh huh.

Looking awesome! Gotta get my Rick build going again...

No black tapewounds? :D

We all have our boundaries, and strings are one of mine, because strings are a very important part of the tone chain.

I really like TI's and Chromes. I have tried a number of different strings, but these are what trip my trigger.

Some things just can't be compromised.

I'm not usually a Ric fan, but I love what you've done with it! It's sleek.

Personally, not sure about the bridge.. it's just too friggin' big, I want to see more of the holly

I luv this kind of insight cuz it makes me think about my design
My knee jerk reaction is to keep what I got, but, I do have a chunk of ebony laying around (BTW, Keep your scraps).

This is a no loose! I already have a bridge that would work, but If I made one out of Ebony, how cool would that be?!

I need to start thinking how I'm going to do this

While I ponder how I am going to cut the bridge, I figured I do some work on the neck
I'll be looking for @mapleglo to laser etch me an ebony TRC (Hollybacker)
Don't quite know which knobs to use. I show some Ebony knobs, but they just don't quite look right.
I also have a buffalo horn blank for the nut.
Cheers and thanks for looking
