I would put up distressed box beams. 1/4 or 1/2 beam around the perimeter and full beams perpendicular to the wall with the window. If you can DIY, it will be material costs only. And available time of course.

Here's a shot without flash, which shows the lights I built into the tops to illuminate the bottles. The flash pics completely washed it out. I used a router to run the full length of the top oak boards, and used warm LED rope lighting that just fit in there snug. Came out perfect.

Time for some updates. Since last post, I painted the room orange and green (green behind the bar and on the opposite wall, and orange on the side walls), hung an awesome custom neon sign of the bar name (gift from my brother), and added another fridge (at the end of the bar), as the keg fridge doesn't offer much extra space when there's a half inside at all! It has a glass door, and really cool blue LEDs.

The only bourbon I have rt now is Maker's Mark and Evan Williams. For Tequila, I have Cuervo for mixers and Milagro Reposado as the better stuff. I've been collecting Irish Whiskeys recently.
