There is ingenuity there, even if it's really more of a working proof of concept than a refined finished product

It is definitely the first time I have seen that general configuration for a 5-string. I'm wondering what it would look like if it were done properly, with five matching tuners spaced properly, and with some care taken in the design of the headstock shape.

The body looks like a guitar but the headstock looks bizarre. It is not even a Ovation headstock, not even with the top chopped out.

Looks like it started life as a G4M round back.
