I think it would have been...if they had gone with a black pickguard...There has got to be a GREAT back story to Antigua.
Somehow, sometime, there was a conference table of FMIC suits who took one look at that finish and said..."Yeah! That'll be a big seller, put it into production!"
I'd take this over yet another decade of candy apple red, lake placid blue, sunburst, and black. White gets a free pass because it's timeless/classy.

Amen, I think tort is extremely ugly and kind of like the AntiguaThe same can be said for sunburst with tort. I'd rather have Antigua any day of the week.
Of course, I wouldn't be caught dead inside a Starbucks.

I can get behind this one, I mean why would you paint wood brown of all colors? It's like painting a leaf green.
I was under the impression that Antigua actually started out as a grey-burst-like finish, like Jio said, and they turn that greenish color over time, much in the way old pelham blue instruments turn that fantastic shade of green.
