There has got to be a GREAT back story to Antigua.

Somehow, sometime, there was a conference table of FMIC suits who took one look at that finish and said..."Yeah! That'll be a big seller, put it into production!"

I'd take this over yet another decade of candy apple red, lake placid blue, sunburst, and black. White gets a free pass because it's timeless/classy.

I dig the Antigua, especially the older ones (colors a bit different from the FSR antiguas of a few years ago). But then, my favorite color is gray.

The same can be said for sunburst with tort. I'd rather have Antigua any day of the week.
Of course, I wouldn't be caught dead inside a Starbucks.
Never owned a Chevy, either.

As I scrolled down the page, I didn't see any finish I considered to be "horrible"...until I saw this LOL.

Call me weird, but I kind of like the antigua finish. I also appreciate the Dean neon 80s colors, even if their looks limit their ability to be taken seriously in many situations.

I can get behind this one, I mean why would you paint wood brown of all colors? It's like painting a leaf green.

I was under the impression that Antigua actually started out as a grey-burst-like finish, like Jio said, and they turn that greenish color over time, much in the way old pelham blue instruments turn that fantastic shade of green.

These two look uncannily like x-rays of guitars, possibly even more so than the Dan Armstrong.
