How do I clean sick from my Shergold?

I love how this thread has like 3-4 helpful replies, and the rest is a split between people asking for more details about the puke and people cracking relentless jokes. I'm dyin' here! Hahahahaha! :D

That said, I'm curious about the rest of the story as well. I don't throw up often, but when I do, I can usually tell my stomach isn't sitting quite right and I can at least prepare myself for it. What the heck did you eat that caused such explosive chunk-blowing that you couldn't put your bass down and run for the toilet?

What happened was that I realised I was going to throw a technicolor snake and tried to get the bass off. Somehow the bass strap, being longer than usual, wrapped around my watch and by the time I got it off, it was too late.

FassaNuff....ROFL...thats funny..... also funny that another poster said barfing on a bass rules and they 'been there, done that'... I don't want to know LOL

I would like to see a pic of the poor bass AFTER its clean up though. ^_^

Thanks Fassa ^_^ I am not familiar with Shergolds and would love to see it. I checked out your profile -- another female bassist. COOL ! I also realized we are born in the exact same month and day (just different years)...

That's a great mental image to bestow upon us all, thanks :p!

When they make the film of your life, Fassa, I think that they should get Elizabeth Hurley ;) (Jack Black in drag would be funnier, though ;)) to play the part of you, fumbling to get your bass off.

I can just picture the scene where she lifts the bass over here head and the strap snags on her watch, pulling it right up in front if her face, so that she's forced to watch the seconds ticking away the count down to "launch time" :(. During all of this, her stomach would be gurggling loudly over the top of the soundtrack :D.

Hmm, which song could they use for that part, I wonder ?

The Beatles - "She Loves Spew (yeah, yeah, yeah)",
R.E.M. - "Barf a World Away",
Jackson 5 - "Bile Be There",
The Kingsmen - "Huey, Huey",
Good Charlotte - "Keep Your Hands Off My Hurl"

Did I forget any :smug:?
