Looking back at the list of banned users, I can't really see too many who'd be exempt from that description. You really do need to try hard to get permanently booted out from here.

I just hate it when people change key just for the heck of it.
Yes, it's an unwritten code. If you post there, everyone will know you aren't either practicing or obsessing over pickups and preamps, so the "in crowd" stays away to protect their reputation. Also, the in crowd knows their time is better spend shopping for the best prune juice. What's the best prune juice for metal?
Considering the rules as written down here, I suppose the steps to attract the banhammer could be listed down as follows:
Rule #1: Do not respect your fellow members.
Rule #2: Post profanity.
Rule #3: Post threads on off-limit topics & violate forum-specific rules. Incite political and religious debate/discussion.
Rule #4: Be culturally insensitive - post negative remarks based on race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, gender identity, or religion.
Rule #5: Question moderation decisions publicly.
Rule #6: Be discourteous via PM & IM.
Rule #7: Post non-solicited advertisments in the forums.
Rule #8: Represent yourself falsely.
Rule #9: Become an artist who endorses a music-related company, or receive remuneration from a company and do not disclose this via the "Disclosures" field in your profile.
