What's the difference between the SJB-57 and SJB-62?
They looked very similar though.
Of course, it would be cheaper to have it bought by an American friend and have him send it to me as a gift, but I do not have American friends
Anyway, who can answer my question?
I'm probably going to buy one of these soon. It'll cost a little bit to get it into the UK but not a massive amount.
Buy one then post a Youtube video of you doing a cover song, I can't wait : /
Here are my two SX basses surrounding my custom Conklin. The LPB one is stone stock other than the thick poly off the neck. The black one is modded to all hell!!! They are both awesome basses for thje money and for much more, IMO.Good enough to warrant 4 megathreads from players who at least own or have played 1 along with their Sadowsky's, Fenders, MM, Laklands, G&L's, Ibanez', Ricks, boutique basses, customs, etc....

Here's my summary. I own one SX and have read most of the megathreads.
They are decent quality components, assembled in a cheap factory. They may or may not have a good set-up out of the box.
Mine required some significant set-up work. Neck relief and string height were both bad out of the box. But after several set-up sessions, I got it all worked out, and it plays and sounds nice, now.
Some folks find them fine out of the box. I didn't.
To answer the OP's question: They're an excellent value for the money. A lot of users say they compare very favorably to Made In Mexico Fenders.
I have an SX Essex and I LOVE it.
For what it's worth, I'd get the green one myself.
