How long have you owned you main player ? My first Sadowsky 5 string was built and ready for me in Sept 2005.

I have been flip-flopping basses like a madman for the last 2 years and the only constants have been my '74 P and Stingrays and Sadowskys.

I have had my '74 P for a couple of years and my 1992 Sadowsky NYC Jazz and 30th Anni Stingray for about a year and 1/2. 3 go to basses out of 14!

My MAIN go to bass would be my Sadowsky NYC. So I have had my go to bass for just over a year.

I got my White Yamaha BB5000 the day they came out- i played a pre release demo at West LA music and put in an order right then. It's one of the first, so I guess the year was in the late 80's. it's the narrow neck, passive model with the brass surrounds on the pickups. it has upgraded front pick up & preamp and hard nickle silver frets added. It has been my main bass ever since, and the first one that I have played enough to wear the paint off the back of the neck.. I'm proud of that wear mark...

My main player is a Lakland Skyline 55-01 in the discontinued Cherryburst finish that I purchased new in June 2003. 5.5 yrs old. Still in terrific shape.

Got my Miruzzi about 15 or so years ago, the fretless p copy (sold) and precision p-bass lyte (stolen) owned before have never been replaced.

I've used my '77 P for the past 16 years, but my main player has been my Aerodyne Jazz the past 6 months. I find the Aerodyne to be a real beautiful player...

My main player is a '08' MIA Fender Jazz V which I bought new from Musician's Friend, sight unseen, unplayed, to a chance and it was worth it back in late May '08'. I've since swapped out the bridge pup for a Bartolini 57J1, but the jury is still out on the pup swap.
