Just one. My '93 Ibanez SR895.
At one time I owned 5 basses but I quit playing for awhile and sold all my instruments.
I got it a couple years ago at a steal of a price. It needed and got some TLC. It's seeing alot of work these days and has payed for itself many mant times over.

1983 G&L L2000. Black with rosewood FB.

Warmouth Parts Fretless Frankenjazz with Pedulla polyeter FB coating.

1986 Steinberger XP2, black with CF neck and rock maple "flying vee" body. Made a one piece custom mahogany body for it.

Rickenbacker 4001/4003 home-made clone build in progress.

I am holding steady for over a year at 8.... crappy Morgan Monroe ABG, Squier fretless Jazz, '83 Jazz and '72 Jazz, '74 P, a Valenti Jazz 5 and two Fodera 5ers. All I likely will ever need.

The ABG has a screwy E string Piezo, the Squier badly needs a setup that I haven't got around to doing and the '83 Jazz was owned and signed by a bassist from one of my favorite bands and hangs on my basement wall, so those 3 don't get played. The other 5 are all played regularly and are killer.

Just one!

I own several basses and...I stopped purchasing basses after 2010. I enjoy each instrument in my collection. There are three basses that I often reach for...an old fender jazz, g&l l-1000 and a early 80s BC Rich. I'm willing to wrestle any bass that produces or a capable of creating thunder.
