How do you like that ESP LTD LT-4?
I have wanted one of those in fretless zebrawood finish but i never see them second hand for a realistic price.. still have GAS though..

And i am up to 4 basses:
- Squier CV Mustang (Labella MUS flats)
- Squier Jaguar H (Chromes)
- Fazley Piranha (ETB92 Tapewounds)
- Harley Benton B-35BK-FL (original strings, will leave that one at work)

I love it! Great sounding and playing bass. I have D'Addario Tape Wounds on it which gives it a nice warm tone. I mainly use it for duo gigs. And it is way more comfortable to play than a typical acoustic bass. I did add that wood thumb rest, kind of like what you see on Godin basses. Yea, you don't see these pop up used to often. I got mine used from Reverb.

I have those D'Addario Tape Wounds also on my Squire Jaguar. I did change the pickguard on mine and added a Gotoh bridge.

Ooooh it was you! I have seen you post on another thread about that ESP LTD! Love it and love those strings!

And also love that Jag! Mine is wearing Chromes but is otherwise completely stock and i absolutely love how it sounds!

Absolutely not! Not even close to being muddy. Very punchy and warm tone. Yes, stock pickup. See no need to change it. Plus the Rumble 100 is certainly not a muddy amp.

Looks like 24 basses, or there abouts. You know, that number is fuzzy, because sometimes I strip one I built for parts to build another, or strip one to sell for parts, or one I built falls apart, or no longer functions for some reason, or something. But about 17 are factory made, and a few that I did build have lasted 10 years or more, so...

I'm absolutely loving my new Rumble 100. All my basses sound great through it. A bit of low mid cut, a touch of high mid boost, and cut the low as needed for the room. It was the clear winner when I spent a couple of hours at the store testing amps. It weighs less than a bass in a case but doesn't sound lightweight. Even the useless overdrive is turning out really handy as a mute button!

I must have replied to this around 2020 - selecting between 5-9. Now I'm down to 1 1930s upright and 1 electric, an MTD Kingston CRB5 bought second hand, modded all the hardware and took off the pickguard. I still own a 1991 Steinberger but its stashed in its gig bag the closet and isn't being played but rather up for sale.

This year has probably been the slowest year for gigs for me in the last 12 years, only played 2 jazz gigs - one on upright and the other doubling on the electric. Next scheduled gig isn't until June - corporate jazz casino gig. I hardly played bass the last 2 months other than jamming with my reggae band every other week so I picked up the guitar to finally learn. The Jem was such an iconic guitar shape growing up in the 80s, so when I saw it used I had to try it and it felt gresat. Been trying to learn alot of 80s stuff, Def Leppard, Motley Crue, Ozzy, etc. and having a blast. It even ignited playing more bass. I haven't craved wanting more and am enjoying playing all 3 of these pretty consistently now at home.
