I just sold the Lakland 55-02 .. and I just bought...
a Brubaker Brute...
. Looking forward to playing this one..The beauty of all this for me is.. none of this would have been possible for me if not for TalkBass...
This has been an active year for me. In the last 12 months:
Bought Squier P and hot rodded it.
Bought Ampeg BA108
Sold Hartke HA3500
Bought Ampeg PF-500
Bought MIJ Fender Duff McKagan body and parts to assemble it.
Bought Korg Polyphonic pedal tuner.
Bought Squier P and hot rodded it.

Bought a single minty alpine white Epiphone thunderbird, limited edition from 2005 for $200. I'm pleased!
This year I've been blessed to try out some new things and buy my "dream bass".

-Fodera Monarch 5 string(best decision of my life)
-Epifani Piccolo head
-Squire CV P-bass (great for $)
Sold:
Roscoe Skb-3006 fretless
Roscoe Lg-3005
TC electronics rh450
The new purchases for 2015 will be an Epifani D.I.S.T 410
and a new fretless....hopefully Fodera!!

There's been a lot, about 5 multi stands worth.
But it's been a Great Year. Alcohol problem dealt with (3 years sober), after the bank foreclosed on the house last year
myself and the Ginger cat have a home again, my work skills have been in demand all year round.
Ok I've bought or built 42 basses this year. Some for nostalgia,some cause they looked good,a few were great deals
some because they were great players or for multiple tunings.
And I still banked a whole chunk of change.
Yeah 2014 has been a really good year.
Now if only a T 45 comes along in the next 2 weeks

Another one ought to have been delivered just now, but again, they couldn't ring the (bleep)ing doorbell, have to pick it up at the PO Monday. Grrrr.

Very true. I'd rather them hold than leave it, that's why it's signature required, of course, but... ...lights on, car in the driveway... couldn't hit the doorbell??

Yeah, I threw a lowball bid on that, not sure I want to try to chase it, given how much I've blown on basses in the past week.
(And the great thing about being an old bachelor - no explaining to do, other than to myself - though that can get rather tricky as well!)
Did you see that Zenith closed for $1060 shipped? Crazy! Might have to just update my GAS to a used Rob Allen!

I bought 0 bass this year. around this date last year I got a Carvin Icon6 fretless, first bass that I bought in 7 years and was hugely disapointed by it but now I'm stuck with it and tried many thing but nothing did it for me. It was also a way to trow oïl on my little fire since I haven't played that much, I did record a little but since... music is pretty much over for me.
I think of selling my basses and only keep one and maybe one day the desire to play will come back.
