How many TBers does it take to change a lightbulb?

Much harder to get a nice bright candle though, and expensive too.... rockstars........

It's hard for candles to put out enough light at the lower wavelength to be used on their own in a gig situation. Usually you have to bring a good lens (preferably a Fresnel) and maybe some mirrors depending on the size of the venue.

At this point most people say, "why not just bring my P-bulb?"

To which I reply that "it doesn't provide the soft, yet boomy warmth that I'm looking for."

It doesn't matter. Any good bass player knows it's the darkness between the lights that creates the groove.

How many bass players does it take to change a light bulb?

None, the keyboard player does it with his left hand.

LOL :bassist:

Okay, okay. I know this isn't the most popular opinion, especially in these forums, so please don't flame me too hard. I just can't get into light bulbs. I don't hate them and respect what they have achieved. Lets just say I'm not a big fan.

Don't get me wrong either. I've tried to like them and have owned more than one, but I just don't get what everyone sees in them. It's like they are worshiped. Maybe it's just the style I'm not into. I've always been more into fire. You know, oil lamp, torches. The sun!!

Really, is a light bulb better than any of the others??

Who else feels like I do?

What about the picture of a cat. This thread is missing the picture of the cat. With something not so funny written on it. Then someone to quote it thinking it is funny. Where's that cat??

Also, my lightbulbs have more lumens than yours. :spit:

^^^^ I really hope that was quoted as sarcasm... EDIT: the guy above the guy above me... he beat me to the post after the big one.

Oh, and don't forget 16 Bulbwick haters who say they just can't get used to the baseball bat of a bulb. It just doesn't fit in their hands when they screw it in. Now the old Bulbwicks were fine... stupid company changed it because they're cheap.

Don't forget those guys!
