I can write well, spelling not so well. Between my best efforts, fighting with autocorrect, and trying to communicate on my Apple products, it usually comes out a garbled mess.

Sorry to read you're having problems with that.At your/our age do you really have to ask that?
It's hard to be too picky on social media.
There are a lot of people posting on their phones that can't see their phones correctly, and press post reply before they've actually read what they have written out.
I try to give people some Grace in this area because not everyone has the same amount of education.
Where they may just be lazy and you can never tell, so maybe you should start some kind of writing club on TalkBass?

Words can’t express how much I miss him.I nominate @Gorn as leader of this new club. And where is @killedbydeath? I thought he’d be all over this!
One thing I've noticed is that few people know (or think) they're a bad writer. Because no one has ever pointed it out to them.
Exsept wehn we dont.I try to write the same way that I talk. I use spell check, commas. English is always evolving. Sadly, it's "dumbing down".
Thank God we are not able to incorporate "up speak" into our writing! I hate "up speak"!
No matter how much I proof read, seems like I always miss something.
I have found that most of us here on TalkBass do pretty good with expressing ourselves and I always enjoy reading TalkBass threads and posts.
