Not at all. I just think he is expressing SOME remorse. I said that until everyone is made whole, I'm still skeptical because of the pattern he's established around here.

I'm a lawyer and I've seen people in court express "remorse". Some you can tell are sincere about it and others are just mouthing the words.
Since we cant actually see him as he's typing we dont know for sure which version we have here. I'm just saying he expressed remorse, I dont know if he actually MEANS it though.
But really, "actions speak louder than words" so if he does the right thing and returns whatever instruments he still has and pays other people back in cash, thats the main thing.

Aw boo hoo. :bawl: Maybe if you planned for an education rather than defrauding people this wouldn't have happened. Don't come cryin' with that excuse. Your decisions are your own.

This is place where we help and support one another and you chose to use the trust we develop with one another to your advantage not just once but numerous times. I have no sympathy for you and your "lapse of judgement". Even describing it that way tells me you still aren't taking this seriously.

You committed a crime not just an lapse of judgement. A lapse of judgement is using your fathers car without permission. This was fraud and theft and you shouldn't be allowed to call it merely a lapse of judgement. :scowl:

If there's any justice in this you'll see your day in court and maybe the judge will show you some mercy for your "lapse in judgement" but I wouldn't count on that when you've committed multiple offenses.

You need to get the **** away from this site and make your restitution in other ways. You know who you screwed over and you have their addresses because you shipped thing to one another. The mods need to cut you off now or you'll be right back to the same old crap.

I've dealt with guys like you before and the story is always the same. You're never sorry until you're caught. You ask for a pardon but go right back to what you were doing. Your a sick kid and you need some help. Go get it because you won't find it here.

Wow, that took a while. Hope this turns out well for you Shawn. As for Evan, note that Karma is a lot like jalapenos. What you do today, is liable to burn your ass tomorrow. I hope for your sake you have the gear you stole from others to return to them, because it looks like you might have some visitors veeery soon.

This. You can't be remorseful when you had none about committing the crime to begin with. There is only self preservation.

They just try to buy time with pity or other emotional ploys. They seem to enjoy playing with others emotions, these pathological types see feelings in people as levers to manipulate them with and it gives them a feeling of power.

Mick, its clear he "miscommunicated" with multiple other members and "sent the wrong bass" a number of times. Strangely it was always many hundreds of dollars less in value than claimed. It seems he also "miscommunicated" with a member about specific details of a bass that didnt exist to try to scam him and that member was much better at detecting his lies than yourself apparently. Be warned man. And hide your gear.
