Dharma..DO NOT BELIEVE ANYTHING HE SAYS UNTIL YOU HAVE YOUR BASS BACK!! And maybe until Tdawgg does too. He has lied multiple times TODAY and has perpetrated a pattern of fraud against multiple members. NO MATTER WHAT you need to involve the police to make sure he returns the gear or delivers restitution and sorry to say this, but that he also learns the legal implications as well. This is NOT a one time bad choice. It is a criminal enterprise with not so well thought out deceptive fake aliases. This is criminal fraud with well established intent to multiple victims. Consider contacting IC3 to begin a federal fraud investigation.

Hey watch it there punk - I never went to college, so I too "only have a low highschool education". I have a lovely wife and a nice house and two fantastic kids. I've done just fine with a lowly high school education. Lots of other very successful people out there with only a high school education.

Sorry but I have to partially disagree, there is defintely remorse in there. Self-pity? ABSOLUTELY.
But signs of remorse as well, "My faults are my own" "I've done wrong" "This is all low of me". That sure sounds like remorse to me.
Of course, actions speak louder than words so unless/until all of his victims have either gotten their proper instruments back OR have gotten paid appropriate value if he no longer has them, I remain skeptical.
Just sad that some people choose to live their life this way. Just reinforces that you really have to be careful on the internet. As sad as it is, you just can't trust everybody.
I've been stalking this thread for the past 3 1/2 hours, and I found it to be so much win that I had to make an account here. I hope JPATA returns your stuff, and that justice will be served. He definitely deserves something more than the slap on the wrist he's asking for. 
Maybe not, but don't assume that. There may be a process for exploration of assets. If so, one may be surprised to find more available than was let on. There could also be garnishment of wages.
In the end, it may not be worthwhile, but I don't know if we can figure that out in the context of this forum.
