In a whole different category of pain.
(Preface: I know that somewhere out here in Talkbass land, this song holds genuine emotional associations for someone. Regrettable, and for which I again offer an apology, but the cause of truth must supersede.)

And another example of the fact that 1968 was in some ways the nadir of the bad as well as the peak of the good in popular music.

If he had, I think he'd find that maybe he wasn't so smart after all.
Kind of a blowhard, really.

It's more along the lines of "What good is cancer in April? No good, no good at all."
