hysteria with -1- pedal?

I was inspired to give this a shot with two different pedals that I think get pretty close. First is a bass big muff with the master volume and mids knob mods. Next is the Vox tone garage V8 distortion. There have been some awesome posts thus far. Really cool madness covers with the behringer.

I would buy a pedal from either of them if I had the cash. Just read the 'cracked the Animato' thread... Both very smart dudes and I'm impressed that both very openly share their ideas and hard work with others where many would not. I think the prices are very fair especially concidering the hard work, low build numbers and quality.

For sure! I ended up getting a JonhK animato, it's amazing and as a bonus dealing with Jonh is simply great! When all was said and done, I added a tad more then what we had agreed on, I called it an R&D Bonus

Reports on the Crowella Animated are very good and he still has some. Definitely two great guys who did a really cool thing.

I should say that the signal chain was an ibanez sr905 with chromes to an amplug straight into the mic input on my computer. In front of an amp there are more lows.

I think that the extra bite on the vox gets a little closer. Also the vox seemed to overload the sound card and the volume would drop off after a few seconds. I made a longer clip but it had that volume drop. I'll post it if anyone is interested.
