I’ll just leave this right here

Shoot. Music stand, shorts and more than likely sandals and looks like they’ve already fired the drummer. Just being really loud while I’m trying to eat my pizza and probably dogging ASCAP fees. Yep no chance of a train wreck here, I’m heading over to Billy’s. ;)
Did you listen to the video? The singer, Mike Masse is outstanding! This video has over 11 million views for a very good reason

I agree - no doubt he knows he just doesn’t have the chops anymore.

I asked Mike Porcaro (RIP) about Bobby Kimball years ago, and why he was no longer singing with the band. He mentioned they had actually re-auditioned Bobby at one point for one of the tours, but he no longer had the chops (this was 25+ years ago.) I’m sure it’s been difficult for him for decades.

very recently, read an interview with Lukather and he basically said that coke killed Kimball's voice.

One of them. David Paich was the guy whose voice you hear in the verses of that song. Kimball had the high-flying chorus parts and Lukather was on the harmonies. It's one of the best vocal performances in a pop song ever.

I just can't believe his voice has degraded this much, or that he's still trotting it out. I could sing it better, which believe me is not saying anything much.

THIS...if Toto ever had a real "lead" singer...it was Boz Scaggs on the Silk Degrees album
