I am 100% all Fender now

Same here. When I retired in 2020 I sold off all non fender basses. But I did keep my EKO violin bass and Tacoma acoustic bass. Oh and I did buy an Ibanez EUB that I play frequently.

I kept the Fenders because I like to build basses and I'm constantly mixing and matching Fender bass stuff. I have ten of them now.

Probably boring to most of you, but I'm very happy with the assortment. I say all Fender, but my Squier is officially a Squier. Although it outperforms many Fenders (and says Fender in tiny letters on the headstock)...

The least-identifiable one is the black American Standard Jazz I bought new in 2000.

Everyone except Flea has swapped pickups.

if you assume my Korean P Bass copy is basically a Fender, my no-name jazz is fender's design, my 2 G&Ls are still Leo & my actual Fender is mostly Fender (except for the tuners, the pickups, the bridge, the nut, and the strings)

Although I am not completely "All Fender" here are my four - Mustang, Squier Affinity - Precision ( my pride a '73 I bought new) and a Modern Player Jaguar.

Same here. 100% Fender MIA. The pair pictured together are my American Pros. The Jazz with the tort and both my Precisions are Pro IIs. The blue bass is a ProII neck and custom everything else. All have had pickup upgrades.

But nothing feels like a Fender. Love them all.

1966 Jazz, put a BloomDoom body on it last night in firemist gold. All original besides the body and bridge volume pot.

1972 Fender P. Restored to factory original using 100% oem parts from 1969-1972

It wasn't intentional, but I'm 100% 7ender-free. None of my basses have the F-word on the headstock. I just sold a Am-Pro II Tele and replaced it with a PRS Silver Sky (best 'Strat' I've ever owned). So yeah, I'm officially out of the club.

That being said, I have a couple of high-end basses for sale. When they sell, I'll be setting that money aside for an early-mid 60s jazz bass, if I can find one I like. So, I may be back.

Been playing bass for 55 years. Ninety percent of the time i only had one bass and except for a brief fling with a ric 4001, they were all Pbasses. Good value and a solid instrument. I never considered myself as a "serious bassist" though and maybe thats why i didn't explore other options ( until the last 10 years).

I feel ya brother. I had a 7-year relationship with a 77 4001. Great memories. But my true love will always be my Fenders.

American Std Jazz and American Dlx Dimension V (Stock)

But I picked up a Breedlove acoustic recently.
