I think if I didn't have an '87 Peavey Patriot with the super ferrite pickup then I would be 100% Fender as well. If I were to only have 2 basses in my collection. I like variety with by basses to suit my mood. Most of my basses are Fender though.

Well, Fender makes a great product, and no wonder many guys adopt them as "their brand."

There is something to be said about variety and choices. Certainly, a Stingray has a unique voice, and some of us want variety. That would be me... My go-to is generally a Pbass for many things, but I love picking what suits me.

To each his own, and I get the attraction to the Fender sound. If you have a collection of basses, adding some variety might be beneficial in giving you some new inspiration. The sound of the instrument often informs you about what to play.

The Matt Freeman is a killer bass. I put many a Fender back on the shelf when comparing it to that Squier.

I have a Squier CV Tele, and it's awesome. The neck is super nice quarter sawn maple.

Nice collection! I'm currently 0% Fender, unless you count EBMM as a Leo, in which case I'm 100% Fender.

Same here, every Fender I have owned I have eventually sold. My regular player is a Sterling Ray4, which is Leo designed. So I guess I am 50% fender??
