Cilantro can stay with me but Tarragon and Dill can hit the road.Ooooof. Cilantro can take a hike.
I heard there's a new Winger record coming out too... can't wait for that juicy metal to be released.

I wonder if Cookie Monster gets/likes metal, or if he ever gets credit as being an influence on metal vocalsOnce cookie monster came in with the vocals @ 2:00 I stopped the video.
I've actually read that for a percentage of people, the taste of cilantro is soapy. Not the case for me, and I love it, but just out of curiosity is that the case for you?
or death metal if thats what this is called...but im getting a kick out of watching this drummer play
Those guys were the metal of their day...shrieking noisy knuckle dragging ‘music’*(defying all that is holy and tasteful)performed by screaming weird looking madmen with dubious morals, everything that parents find repugnant and corrupting(well, maybe not Fats, but what is that ‘thrill’ he’s singing about?).Depends on when you were 14. I was 14 in 1957. It was Elvis, Chuck Berry, Fats Domino, Little Richard, Jerry Lee Lewis...
Metal, like any other genre, is a generational thing. What are current 14 year old males listening to?
Now that would be an interesting sub-genre!![]()
Winger were the very unfortunate victims of a bizarre, perfect storm of circumstances, starting with Beavis and Butthead , but they were (are) exceptional musicians that created some REALLY good and sophisticated music. Even their cliche'-ish "hits" are very well constructed and executed songs. They have a fairly substantial catalog that is seriously, worth listening to...... you don't have to tell anyone you didI heard there's a new Winger record coming out too... can't wait for that juicy metal to be released.
Metal is a pretty broad genre.
As diverse a genre as is the case with jazz for example.
Try some Tool:
Or how about some Om:
This is a common misconception about metal. It doesn't promote hate or violence. It holds an unflattering mirror up to reality. If humanity exudes hate and violence in such overwhelming amounts, you can't blame musicians for voicing their disgust with humanity.being an old fart ... i like and dislike stuff in just about every genre ...!!
i don't have time for stuff that promotes hate or violence ... those fires don't need to be flamed ..!!
There's a crapton of bad death metal out there but plenty that's good too.
