Start putting stickers on it and letting the kids use it as a paint canvas.

Man, you have to get it refined. Think about how awesome it would be to have a bass that plays, sounds, AND looks exactly like you want. Most people would be lucky to buy a bass and get two of those things. You already know it’s your number one in playing and sound, so is it really a lot of money to make it something that you just love to look at and pick up?

Normally I’d say it’s a waste of money, but in this situation, I think it’s absolutely worth it.

well, i'm with you: the ax in my avatar is one of the ugliest bursts i've ever seen, but i love playing the thing so much --- maybe it's time i did something about it.

i'll ponder the issue later. maybe next week. or this fall/winter.



do we have an ugly bass club? maybe i'll use the search function.

That's a really nice looking bass, I'm not a huge fan of bursts either, but I'd take that one.

I'd say sell it and look for a replacement. I don't understand why you bought it to begin with.

To describe your reaction with words like cringe and stomach turn, this bass is not for you. I'd think if those are your serious reactions, it's gotta go. If you are exaggerating, I'd say sell it anyway. I'll give it a good home.

Wrap it. This used to be purple, which we all hate unless we're from Minneapolis and crying with the doves.
