I missed prom

I didn't go to prom. I had no desire. Instead, my girlfriend at the time and I, dressed up and went to a really nice dinner.

I didn't go to any of my reunions either.

But then again, I'm a loner and have never cared what the popular people thought of me anyway, so why would I go?

Most people don't retain their high school friends after high school and "school pride" makes more sense for college. Going to reunions is up to you, but it sounds mega lame to me.

I still have a lot of friends that I went to High School with.
I have absolutely no school pride, didnt go to prom, nor my 10 year reunion.
I just happened to bond with a large group of people who have continued to keep contact over the last 12 years. It probably helps that a lot of us are musicians from the same area.

A few of my friends did that. I didnt go along, as I did not have a date. I remember being the only person home alone while everyone else went out. Man, there was some good TV on that night, let me tell you!

I went to my prom. I partied at the prom. I partied at the after-party until I literally dropped. But before I dropped, I started a conversation with a girl (not my date) who would become my first year college gf. Win (short-lived).
I hadn't yet realized that I, in fact, did not have the world by the tail. Boy, we burned that mutha' down (figuratively). Good times. Nobody got hurt. And, thanks to some cool parents, nobody went to jail.
Probably can't do that any more. It's a different world, now.

I went to prom for my high school but not for my two college degree.

Quite useless and in my case I never talk to any of those people after it was over. People return in their home town and well even with facebook and all, nothing.
