whatever you get, I would add some geeky switches and maybe some of that erradescent flash tape, the stuff that has all sorts of reflective color, a few stipes of that and it is geeky

Don't know if you're of the DIY sort, but a friend of mine and his brother (bass player and guitar player respectively) built matching axes out of old toilet bowl lids. Sounds like something like that might fit perfectly with your "costume." lol

Hahaha, but I was going to seriously suggest the Mark Hoppus signature P-Bass. With the sparkly pickguard and Surf Green finish, they just might let you pass. Probably not a bad instrument either.
