I'm 29. I've failed out of school several times. I've turned to alcohol (albeit 5+ years ago). Don't start drinking. That's the worst idea ever. Stop. Think. Write down all your options and go from there.
Right now you need a break. Exercise. Find a peaceful place to hike, walk around, or just hang out. Look into simple meditation. It'll take your mind off of things, even if only for a bit. Don't worry. You can salvage your life at any point.
You aren't a failure if you don't have a solid job and a family by the time you hit 30. This isn't the 1950s. Stay strong. Watch funny TV shows you like or go out to some stand up comedy or music shows you like. It's about feeling good any time you can for any length of time.
Believe that the universe wont abandon you. Good things will come and you will look back on this and realize you have come out a better person. Draw positivity from even the most dire of situations. Just don't hit the bottle. It'll make bad things so much worse.
Feel better man! People care about you and want the best for you. By addressing this you are taking the first positive step. Remember that. Remember where you are now. It's all up hill from here on.
