I rarely play a bum note....

I never set my blame shifter flat like that.

Small bump in innocence, to say 1 o'clock really helps me cut through the bands HUH!? moment.

Despite being a guitar-centric effect, it doesn't lose low end, and helps put the keyboardist in their place.

I still haven't made the most of its opportunities for stereo blame tho.

Funny story - I am very easily startled - like I literally fly out of my seat when somebody walks into my office - generally it gives them a heart attack too. That is the background to this...

I hit a bad note pretty hard a few weeks ago - confident I was on the correct fret and all. I nearly jumped out of my skin on stage when I heard what came out of the amp.
PTSD?

but when I do it is always 1/2 tone during a ballad or a quiet passage.

GO
Loud and proud, brother. That's the only way to go.

I remember laying on a fortissimo whole note a half step away from where it should be in a show overture because I couldn't see the penciled in accidental. It was in an old theater with no pit, so the orchestra was fully visible by the whole crowd. ...a true "want to get away?" moment.
