Try a Markbass class D amp theyre to my knowledge the only class D amp that runs in A-B mode ...much cleaner than other class D's

I Want My Old Rig Back!!!....

My first good rig was by no means any better than any of the future ones I would get, but it was certainly good enough to keep forever.
I use different combinations of cabs and heads these days depending on the venue, but nothing beats the sound back in the day with my Acoustic 370 setup. ( for me that is ) I miss the sound and power , but not lugging around that cab !
At one time I had four polishing clothsI don't think I'll ever give up my SWR 750x and Ampeg 810. It has given me the sounds I've needed for so many years and never even broke a sweat.
I bought that SWR head brand new from GC when I was 16 or 17 years old. And I still have the original polish cloth, manual, etc...
SWR is great gear! I've owned almost everything they made and what I do miss is one of my Megoliaths and the 750x. Damn you Ampeg.
I'd never part with my pre fender swr Goliath Sr cab I love that thing
The more and more I think about it, the less and less I miss some of the more badass amps that I've had. I do know I'd regret selling my '78 8x10 because all the amps I thought I'd regret selling sounded really good through this cab and not so great through others.
GK400RB III with Rack compressor. Used to love the tone I got from that. I "upgraded" to either more powerful or lighter weight amps, but that GK always did the trick for me. Never let me down for a gig. I might just buy one again.
Each of my rigs, throughout the years, has been a major step up from the previous one. So (as always) my current rig is the best I've ever had.

Same here, pretty much. All the old stuff was just old and I never look back at any of it fondly at all.

Any amp I've owned and sold I don't miss. OK, I miss that 77 B-15N a little, but I have a 64 so not like I'm hurting

Some gear was owned by the band and I have no memory of where it went. Like a P-Bass in the 60's that I was fond of. Other instruments were passed on to others to make room or to thank someone for a favor. Old less expensive amps were dumped when equipment upgrades came along. Nobody thought of keeping them. You never looked at old gear as something of value, it was more of a tool that could always be replaced and new stuff was always coming along. There was no such thing as vintage. Old instruments were old, well used when you found them.
I've always used tube amps. I did have the sense to keep using tube amps when transistorized amps came alone. Other people were dumping tube amps in the garbage.
But sure, I've got a list of things that I wish I had held on to. But in the end, they are only things, not what's important.
What I truly miss are the friends that are gone, who can no longer come out and play.

I do miss the 76 V4 I had recently. I bought the RI V4B and while it's good and very close to the old one. .. The old one had such a cool overdrive that the RI can't quite grasp.
That said. ..I haven't played with this new RI V4B's eq THAT much yet.. so it might get there.
Plus. ..I don't miss the added weight of the old one
But. .. Still. My Fender Super Bassman and Bergantino NV412 is king.

Sorry to hear, I've had rigs that I've sold that sounded better than what I replaced them with.

I loved my '64 B15; but, it wasn't cutting the volume I needed in the 60's and I needed the cash to get the R&P White Kustom 200 with the 2 15s. I miss that one as well because it was in great condition, sounded great and was unique. I would part with the Fender Baseman Blackface to get that one back or the B15
I miss my old Ampeg BA115hpt. 220 watt ss combo with a tube pre. Great amp that sat on the border of being a practical at home practice rig and being loud enough for live settings. When I owned it I rolled off most of the highs on my P bass and I used flatwound strings. Now I keep the tone fully open and use steel roto rounds. It would probably be plenty loud the way my bass is set up now. It was such a complete package, headphone jack, tuner, xlr out, aux in, removable casters, defeatable tweeter, great metal handles, great tone. Sold it cheap to a kid who was ready to step up from his tiny practice rig. I hope it served him well.
