I use this method; especially when I had the iAmp800...sans gaffers tape.:p

The operative word is "less expensive" - There is nothing cheap about the Micro. Just some info.

Aluminum Chasis and faceplate. The Chasis, knobs and circuit boards are all made in the USA (some of the components on the boards are made overseas, cause they are not made here, unfortunately). The Class D power supply and Power amp as well as the preamp are all proprietary designs. Nothing is "off the shelf"

I know this is a bit late, and I dunno if you're still collecting ideas for stopping the amp being pulled off the cab, Mike, but here's my 2 cents.

It's a similar approach to the screw-out adjustable feet on fridges and washing machines - have the amp's rubber feet attached to (say, 2 inch long) metal rods that telescope out from the body of the amp and lock in position.

If you want a tilt-back, and you don't want the amp to slide off the back of the cab, pull out the two front legs and hang them over the front of the cab. Likewise, if you want to stop the amp sliding forward, pull out the back ones and hang them off the back.

Simple, integrated, more secure than just relying on the rubber feet, and no extra bits and pieces to forget / lose / break etc.

I dunno, it could work.

(The WTX-260 is minimum 4 ohms for sure.)

It would be great if the Micro could do 2 ohms and power 2 Wizzys.

But, if not, will a future version of the Micro do 2 ohms?

The Micro 300 will be 2 ohm stable although I do not beleive that you will see a marked increase in power over 4 ohms. With 2 Wizzys, however, you will gain an added 3 db in volume.

Lane Baldwin posted on the Eden forum that the WTX-260 does not have a Class D amp ... I am assuming that they must be using a switching power supply and an "analog" amplifier section much like WW ... Looks like a very different design concept
