Could someone tell me string spacing the on the BTB terrafirma 5 string?

Seems impossible to find this info. I am assuming it is 19mm, but I can't find confirmation.
If it IS 19mm, I will likely buy one. I am loving my Terra Firma 6er, but the 17mm is too tight for slap. Not that I slap a lot, but for the 3-4 songs a gig where I I do slap, I would have to use a 19mm spaced bass to feel comfortable.
My 6er isn't going anywhere in any case.
Hopefully someone else will chime in.....
Only the 4 string BTB´s came with 19 mm string spacing, the 5 and 6 stringers all have 17.5 mm string spacing.
Just compared terra firma 5 and btb 775bp. same neck size in every dimension, same bridge.... so the terra firma should have the same spacing at 19mm.
Does anyone know where the bass workshop basses are made? Are they made on the same mass produced line as the standard or are they inline with the premium series ?
Anyone here play rock/metal using BTB1305 Prestige? I really want to know what your setup (EQ, Pedal, etc).

Just got home from a full rehearsal with my rock band. This band plays almost everything... Sublime to Queen, Stone Temple Pilots to Clapton, 60's, 80's, current, etc.
In any case, The only bass I brought was my BTB686 Terra Firma singlecut 6er.
I gotta say, I was more than impressed. This is a great bass for just about any style of music. It cuts thru the mix extremely well. Even the C can be heard in a full mix. Cool!
Negatives? I am having a bit of trouble with the 35" scale and 17mm spacing as I am mainly a 34"/19mm guy, but I can adjust. The bass is heavy at 10lbs, but is very well balanced and I didn't feel it at all during a 3 hour rehearsal. Fret and nut edges are sharp, bit that it weather related and it will be fixed by my retailer when I take it in for a free setup when I need new strings.
I own/have owed a lot of different expensive basses and this bass is no slouch in the tone, looks or playability department. I honestly can't think of a better neckthru bass on the market currently for under $1k. The singlecut shape might not be for everyone, but I am warming up to it.
I am seriously considering buying the 5 string version as well!
Ibanez has really picked it up as of late!

GLAD TO HEAR IT!!!! I can't wait to order my five. Im so happy its keep the 19mm string spacing! I've always been a 5 string guy and would love to play a 6 but its just not for me. I loved the tone of it...but eventually I'll be upgrading to the Nordstrand pickups and maybe a different pre-amp. This is the bass I want to trick out to the highest I can. Maybe a glockenlang-pre.
About a week ago I got my BTB776PB, and although it's the most beautiful instrument I've ever owned, I think I'm going to return it today. After hours of tweaking hardware and software EQs I just couldn't get a consistent tone out of it that I liked, and I'm still far more comfortable with the string spacing and 34" scale of my SR506. I was hoping to join the club, but I guess I'm just an SR man at heart!
Based on this video I might actually like the tone of the BTB576, but after this experience I won't be getting one until I can try it in person, which seems to be a rare opportunity nowadays.

I honestly don't think it needs to be upgraded unless you hate Barts. It sounds great to me and my main basses are active FBass and Foderas. I think it is a more quality combo than the Premium SRs with Nordys IME.

If I sell one of my other basses, I am seriously adding a 5 to my 6. I just love these basses and the 19mm on the 5er would make it much more versatile for me (vs the 17mm of the 6er).
Do you know the actual weight of yours?
Nope. Shipping weight is 18 pounds. Guitar center told me Thursday and also wouldn't price match a local vendor who had it cheaper. If it comes Friday I'm going to try and get a free case out of it. The only reason I went with them was because they had it so quickly.

Wait until you hear it in a band mix. Sounds like a $4-5k bass. Ibanez nailed it with this one!
