hey guy's, the ultimate collection would be a bunch of wish basses. come on, just get old wish to make you up 10 basses of any style he see's fit, The results would be a more eccentric, individual style bass thatn any collection of Fenders, Zons or conklins could ever be.

By the way, in all seriousness, i suddennly feel inspired to say I dont like conklins, Something about them just rubs me the wrong way. Iv'e nevr played one or anything, but the look, I just cant dig it,

love

I'd like to go into the 6-string bass realm, but i'm yet to own one and see if it really is my thing.

Considering 6-strings are my thing...

6 string hanewinckel fretted ash jazz
6 string hanewinckel fretless mahogany dual soaps
And my current basses, minus the p-bass - and maybe the jazz eventually...

10?!

Where'd I get that kinda money?
out of the question... :(

I'd prolly steal (j/k) ....

a Modulus Quantum 5
Vintage Jazz (year yet to be determined)... prolly candy apple red & matching headstock
Spector US 5'er, natural
Sadowsky in lake placid blue
Zon Hyperbass fretless
Warwick SSII
Marleaux 4 string
Fodera Monarch
One Mike Kinal 4 string fretless
One Mike Kinal 5 string fretted
And a Roman Blake 4 string fretted custom
i suppose that's 11 but... :D

and i'd grab a 1963 Fender Jazzmaster! :hiding:

1977 Fender Precision - natural/maple
1978 Fender Precision - sunburst/rosewood
1979 Fender Precision - black/maple
1951 Fender Precision - only way they came
1954 Fender Precision - don't care about color
1959 Fender Precision - sunburst
CIJ 70's P-Bass Reissue - oly white/rosewood
Steve Harris Precision - Lake Placid Blue/maple
Fender Roscoe Beck V - Shoreline Gold
Fender Roscoe Beck IV - Sunburst

Or some others, but those'll do. An old jazz with a rosewood Precision neck with the frets pulled a la Jaco would be nice too.
