Well, I can't decide which one I like best, but if the house were on fire, I'd run out with my Pentabuzz and my Steinberger (and try not to think that I was leaving Henderson behind.)

Isn't the poll kinda useless, since we'd have to choose two brands?

Well, i couldnt live without my P-Bass (The most underrated bass sound. at least in my opinion.) and a close second would be what im saving up for. A Erine Ball Sting Ray. Blue with a Maple fretboard. o ya........I NEED MONEY!!!!. darn. guess i have to get a job.

i was just having some fun. plus, i'm curious about people's "not quite at the top, but still gotta have" bass choice.

if you read my original post, maybe you'll understand where i'm coming from.

and who knows, maybe manufacturers will read polls like this and others, take a cue, and update their product line to the needs of the player in the street....

I have only one bass: Sadowsky standard 4 string jazz (ash body with maple fingerboard). I love it! It fits all my needs quite well.

My second bass, if I get one, will most likely be a Sadowsky PJ 5 with alder body and Brazilian rosewood fingerboard. I played on at Roger's shop last May and it sounded unbelievable.

I would actually have a SPECTOR. They are great basses and sound great too. I just recently bought one and fell in love all of a sudden. They are well suited for me and my bass playing and my style(s). Well it's not on here but it should be they are great basses.
