If I could only have 2 basses, I'd get 2 custom Conklin basses made. One 4-string, and one 5-string. Really, I'm trying to save up enough money to get one right now, I have the design and everything. It's just getting together the $5,500. That's kind of cheap for a totally custom bass like the one that I'll be getting, but it's still expensive.

I think I got this figured out... My Music Man Sterling... and a Music Man Sterling lined fretless. :)

Next bass'll most likely be the Sterling fretless. (which won't be 'til I get a job and save some money. :)

Although, if I could only have two basses, I'd have two Music Man Sterling fretted's probably...

Incase anything happened to my one Sterling, I'd have the other to rely on. :)

I thought there was something strange about those 9500 Conklin votes J.T.! :)

I don't know that I have a main axe yet and I guess if I could only have two basses the following would suffice:

1. Lakland 55-94
2. MTD 535
