Shhh... we're not loud to talk about... TalkBass... while fighting... with basses... and clubbing...
By taking that guy's comments to heart you have allowed an external source to eliminate one more reason to continue playing bass. No matter how awful you think you sound, if you dig it, why not keep doing it? Record away, just don't post it.Yeah, that's not personal at all!
I'll never record audio or video of myself playing ever again, and the encouragement here has helped me solidify that.
What are your reasons for being discouraged from recording?
The E string is deadly too.
Well, obviously, you haven't seen me snap a G...
you have allowed an external source to eliminate one more reason to continue playing bass
I mention that only because prior threads of yours have alluded to you possibly quitting, unless I misunderstood. Regardless, DLTBGYD.I would be inclined to agree with you!@
I didn't say I was going to stop playing. I haven't recorded anything in a year.
When I finally picked it up again, I decided I wasn't going to play for anyone but myself, but getting the snide, snarky pokes at my hearing & those year-old recordings is getting pretty damn old.
So.....You're not giving up then?....![]()
I'm seeing a priest because that's a darn miracle! They say see a doctor if it lasts more than 4 hours.
