I have a few issues with Alesis's io dock:
One is that I have to have all gain off on the amps available.

An other issue is that the speaker outs don't seem to work? I have to go through the headphone jack to get sound to the speaker.

Finally, I would like a mute function in Jamup when I'm tuning...

Other than the workable, yet annoying fixes, I'm switching to the io dock into an 800 watt powered speaker and it sounds pretty good. I'm sure it'd be better if I could get the speaker outs working.

It has no speaker outs, just left and right line outs.

A few midimorphosis questions-
1- which synths have you found to work well? Me: nLog, sunrizer
2 - Anyone have luck with Magellan Jr, Argon or Alchemy?
3 - my results are intermittent at best; when setting up midimorphosis to play what steps do you go through? (Really: 1 - turn on... and so on)

Thanks in advance

I've noticed some HORRIBLE glitching if you don't start the apps in the right order. It's like a click, then an echo of it, really horrible and it doesn't recover from it.

There's a lack of real instructions for Midimorphosis, unless you can sit through that terrible sounding video.

What I was able to stumble on by trial and error, is to close all apps. Then open Midimorphosis first, minimize it. Next open the synth. I've found between Alchemy and Sunrizer, Sunrizer works best. Be sure to push the "background audio" button on the main screen of Sunrizer. Makes things a whole lot easier to navigate (and hear what you're tweaking).

Then open Jamup (or whatever app you use for amp sims). I use Jamup.

Then (hopefully) things will work. Remember to limit pedals in Jamup because they'll suck processor juice and add to the risk of ugly noises.

I've found that once it works, it usually stays working.

Here is a little clip, using the new Ampeg SVT CL with the Sansamp GT2:

The bass is my Cort PJ bass which must be in D-G-C-F tuning in order to keep the neck sufficiently flat.... It is my vacation bass at my parents house.

How do you like the new SVT model in Ampkit? How does it compare to the Blueline in Jamup?

Paul, check my soundcloud, I've uploaded two clips, one with the SVT BL on Jamup the other is the SVT CL from Ampkit, I've tried to sett them up in the same manner. But remember the Blue Line is more like the SVT VR, this only master volume, the SVT CL which is on Ampkit have both master and preamp gain, and several EQ possibilities.

Sounds great. Thanks. It doesn't sound different enough to me to bother with the Ampkit model. Maybe down the road, but I'm happy with Jamup for now.

I don't really have the space on my phone to bring back Ampkit right now, since I've been doing all this experimenting with synths. Might add it if I end up with Ampkit back on my phone.

The Sansamp GT2 pedal on Ampkit is great, works great as an amp or as an effect pedal. Evangelos confirm that it works great on the guitar
