I'm totally in love with the new Sansamp modelling app pedal by Ampkit.Sounds great by itself with no amp, sounds great with the Tumbleweed compressor, even sounds very good with some amps.
This is one of the best pedals out there for iOS.
Their new plexi Marshall amp is brilliant too.

Guess who I got to see last night?

Billy is an AMAZING live performer.. not just a bassist.. that dude has incredible stage presence.

I am a little bummed out today because I just got the Lifeproof case for my iphone4S. The bottom port is so tight that the cable from the JAM won't fit into the case... thus making the JAM unusable. The dock extender from Lifeproof is OUT OF STOCK... not to mention extremely OVER PRICED at $29...

Does anyone have a fix for this via another dock extender that fits the Lifeproof case and still allows the JAM to function? I am concerned that the cheaper extenders might not support anything but charging functions... anyone know anything about that?

I must say, that yes Billy is a great stage act, but his playing or overplaying never talked to me. His solo's are non melodic and seems to go nowhere. For me he is just a fast/ very fast/ very very fast bass player. He is a shredder and like many guitar shredders speed is not everything.

I will always prefer to listen to somebody like Squire, Geddy, Wooten, Levin etc.

Billy's tone is also nothing but ubber compression.

But I might be wrong, if somebody can enlighten me by showing me a clip where Billy play a tasty and melodic lick so... :hiding:
