Oh, those....

They don't have a 1/4" out. The studio series looks like they have a 3.5mm out, though. That might do for live use, but perhaps I'm too picky. I prefer 1/4' ins and outs.

If the new BT-4 has 1/4" ins and outs, I'll have a 6-7 month old Sonic Port to sell, real fast.

My son Aiden is now an iOS musician!! Just set him up with an old iRig we found behind the piano (was lost for quite a while) and Jamup on his 3GS (Mom's old phone, strictly a toy since she upgraded).

He's loving it. I don't have the heart to tell him how much better the Apogee sounds. Lol.

Hmmm, funny gimmick.. But I'll before excited if IK Multimedia would come out with dome new bass gear.... As both Ampkit, Jamup and now BIAS are now way ahead of Amplitube.

PG just announced BIAS for iPhone and I know that there are several exciting stuff in the making. I bet Aguilar are also cooking some stuff. IK MM??? When did they showed us something new?? A year ago? B15R is over a year ago

Yeah, this iRing thing looks useless to me.

I'm totally stoked for the iPhone version of BIAS, as well as the new footpedal from Positive Grid.

I'm thinking my entire iOS rig will very soon be Positive Grid.

iRing looks like a toy, it's not that well thought out IMO. Compared to Source Audio Hot Hand (OK, I know it's a quite different technology) it doesn't look like something you could use live.

But I believe that just got taken off my shopping list too.

The Blueboard looks nice but I'm doing just fine with my AirTurn and two (soon to be three...then four) Boss FS-5u's. I guess the extra cabling is a bit of a drag but once I get it all finally set up like I want I can tie it all up neatly with Velcro to minimize the foot print and dangling wires.

Now I've got a bit of a problem...
I dual amp with JU and JU Pro. When Bias comes out for the iPhone and touch, I wonder if I can load JU with the bass expansions on my kids' Touch for his bass. I think I can, leaving me with Pro and Bias.

As a live player, Iks BT4 is the way to go. I zoomed in on the picture and saw an input and stereo out. If audio over BT is no more laggy then any other interface.... That's a game changer for me. The only thing that would be better was if the outputs were at the iOS devise, leaving the stage with one less cable on the floor to get stepped on.

Jeez, guys. This is some exciting stuff. However, I am becoming an IK/PG junky. I see another $120 leaving my pocket soon. GAS sucks.

Either IK are working on something really big, not so likely regarding us bass players, or the just ignores us as usual, laying on a bed of roses, living on the glory of the past and the Amplitube Desktop

It is. I bought one. The reason for the price reduction is they have a new model coming out with the lightning connector. This one still works as well as it ever did.

Something new I'm working on, this is kind of a first draft, around 15 tracks. I'm testing the limits of GarageBand on the 5S.

No vocals on it yet, but I've got a pretty good idea what I'm gonna do, and the mix currently supports it.

I used GarageBand as my DAW, and Jamup for guitar (yup) and bass tracks. Extra sounds from Noisepad and DM1.
