Sonoma Wire Works appears on the verge of releasing their 24 bit firmware (per another email yesterday) and they're looking at adding AudioBus to their apps. Good days are coming.

I would not bother preordering the iRig HD, the price is identical to the Apogee jam available right now, and the Jam is well known also third party software developers and testers.

I am not considering iRig HD for myself. I want stereo / dual-mono in and out, bypassing Apple's preamps in both directions.

Incidentally, I got my Zoom G3X guitar processor to connect successfully to my iPad2 digitally over USB this morning for the first time. Apple's Camera Connection Kit rejects the Zoom signal directly, but Gear Head's 4-port powered USB2 hub (model UH5500ESP, PID# 251115-109103, Rev. 101216) works flawlessly as an intermediary. I previously tried two older powered USB hubs by IO Gear and Belkin without success. I am delighted with my audio input quality now. It is much better than the mono analog JamUp Plug. I am still left with realtime audio output over the headphones jack (same as Apogee JAM and iRig HD users), or I can unplug the CCK for playback via line-level out, or stay all digital via iTunes or GarageBand.

I expect the above listed solution will interest Zoom B3 owners and shoppers. I will post my solution over in that thread when I'm done playing music. Gotta have some fun now!

Here is the email I just sent Behringer about the iS202. I'll update after I get a response.

It scares me that they do not tell you the bit rate
If they can't brag that it's 24bit then it's probably 16bit
I would seriously look into getting one of these if the bit rate is 24bit/48khz or 96khz

48/24 minimum. Even though Audiobus is 16bit sooner or later it will be 16bit. Beatmaker 2 for instance is 44.1/16 but will have hi res in the future.

Adds the ability to zip and unzip files. Could come in VERY handy.

Audio share is very handy, zip it, or not.
Btw, the Rip algorithm is much more effective then the zip regarding compression. The Rip algorithm uses the LA2 while zip is totally solid state

I'll be using my iOS setup tonight with my band. We're playing a grand-opening (for the season) of our local Harley-Davidson. Should be lots of fun.

Since we're using the full PA (outside gig), I won't having any issues with monitoring, so the iOS rig will work well.

Should have video up by Monday or so.

Well, we almost got rained out, but at the last minute they decided to move us inside. They had built a stage for us on a flatbed, but rather than risk a nasty stage collapse we opted to set up in a bid warehouse/museum. It was awesome playing while surrounded by some seriously OLD Harley's.

The band sounded better than last week, and the iOS rig was in full effect!! Jamup performed flawlessly, and several people came up to me when we were done to comment on how good my bass sounded. They assumed the tone was coming from the Acoustic B200 combo, which let's be real. There's no way that thing is producing that good of a tone!!

Gotta crash and be back there at 10am to set up (outside this time) and do it all again!! We've got a local radio station coming and ill be sure to pimp Jamup/iOS every chance I get!!

And the stage they built for us outside. We were under Tornado Warnings and had one hell of a thunderstorm, so there was just no way!!
I can't stop picturing this thing caving in on us. It didn't, obviously, but the whole structure makes me paranoid with the way the wind has been.
