iPhone 5 has been unveiled...

THIS JUST IN YOU CANNOT BREAK A DROID SCREEN!!!

I dropped my iPhone out of my pocket going 70mph on my motorcycle no cracked screen who has the bigger epenis now

I guess you do, since apparently you have something to prove.

That's INCREDIBLE.

:ninja:

It absolutely is!

But what's even funnier is those who spend their time and join the fan boi Club of hating apple, like one fan boi is better than another

What I find funny is that you feel the need to jump on anyones opinion that does not support the iPhone as being superior to all.
I have nothing against Apple or the iPhone, I just dont own one. Apparently that means I have a small penis.

Who is going out of their way to hate Apple? The thread was opened to ask our opinions of the new iPhone, so we're all giving them. Just because someone is not a fan doesn't mean they "hate" it.

I own several Apple products and I like them all. The iPhone does not happen to be one of them.

It's the Internet, Mike. If you're anything less than a rabid cheerleader for a particular brand or product, that means you "hate" it. The "Why all the hate for X?" threads in the Basses and Amps forums are testament to this.

IME everytime an apple products software goes haywire, the device is rendered pretty useless. Several times my iPod touch and iPad have I guess over loaded the processor and frozen the device for like 20 minutes. Power and home buttons didn't work. And also a few times I've experienced what I call " white out". It happened also to both of my apple products. The screens went white, and none of the buttons responded. And it stayed on for hours. Like that. I eventually got an idea and plugged it in and hit the power and home button at the same time and that seemed to wake it up. But still, -1 for apple on that.

With my androids, the only problem I've had is some apps crashing. NBD. It's normal for apps to crash occasionally

That's an important point. Many times it's not the device (iPhone or otherwise) but a specific app, or several apps not playing well together. That's not the devices fault.

Exactly. As the guy at Tmobile said. Apps are made by a wide range of people, from full companies with professional tech staff, and people making them on their home computer. The app software isn't always written the best.

I would like induction charging, NFC, and a light-field camera
Then make it a completely sealed device with no port what so ever.

Well, that's not gonna happen anytime soon, seeing that they just introduced the new connector.

Incredibly underwhelmed.

Apple got caught with its pants down and is just now attempting to play catchup.

- 0.5 inches more on the screen and yet still beaten in size and resolution by Samsung.
- Switching connectors which renders all previous ones obsolete... unless people fork $29/legacy device they wish to keep using.
- No groundbreaking apps or features that would set them apart from the competition.
- Bragging about new power-handling that allows for 8h of online browsing. Who browses on their phone for 8h???
- Addition of WiFi "A." Are you kidding me? Nobody has used that in 5 years!
- No additional video nor audio codecs supported.
- Don't know anybody who downloads anything on their phone. Therefore LTE speeds don't factor in. Not for me nor anybody else I know.

Conclusion ; Apple has lost me. The iPhone 5 is such a microscopic step up from the 4S that it's mind-boggling seeing that even the most die-hard Apple fanboy can't be snapped back to reality by such a shockingly unsatisfying upgrade. The competition seems to be innovating way more. And simply offering more. The S3 is the phone I'm aiming to get.

Android is better than Apple like Flats are better than Rounds. Or was that Jeeps are better than Hummers? Over is better than under. Oh, wait. We have options for a reason. Thank goodness everyone doesn't like the same thing(s)...

Rock your own tune.
Hike your own hike.

While I agree with this. But the GS3 is superior in pretty much every way spec wise and was out before the iPhone 5. The iPhone 5 spec wise doesn't touch the GS3. Both are considered smart phones, but the GS3 is smarter you could say.
